You can be successful at weight loss by eating three (3) moderate-sized meals per day or six (6) mini-meals; the choice is yours. You decide what works best for your body. For maximum satisfaction, incorporate some lean or low-fat protein, fiber, and healthy fat into each meal. And boost your nutrition by including a fruit or vegetable.

Here are 3 examples of mini-meals that are both nutritious and satisfying… 

  • Hummus with whole grain crackers and baby carrots
  • Half a turkey sandwich on whole grain bread with a fresh fruit salad
  • An apple with a piece of low-fat cheese and light pop corn

Weight Loss Success Tip: to be successful at weight loss, never go more than 4 – 5 hours without food, aim for nutritionally balanced meals and snacks, and don’t exceed your calorie limit.
