ID-10096590Why is weight loss so important to you? I’m sure you’ve thought about this many times before. Perhaps it’s because you are concerned about your health; maybe you want to increase your energy level and stop feeling tired all the time; or you’d like to feel better about the way you look and improve your self-esteem. All of these are very good reasons, and yet, if you don’t feel a sense of urgency about at least one of them, you’re probably not going to do what it takes to achieve long-term success.

POWERFUL WEIGHT LOSS TIP: in order to succeed at weight loss, you need a sense of urgency.

In other words, your reason for wanting to lose weight must be compelling and urgent enough to get you heading to the gym after a long day’s work even though you’d rather go home. It must be compelling and urgent enough so that you walk right past Cinnabon at the mall even though the tempting smell of cinnamon buns baking is calling your name. If your reason for wanting to lose weight is not compelling and urgent enough, you probably won’t follow through and do what it takes.

The first – and most critical – step in achieving permanent weight loss is to get clear on why it’s so important to you. Dig deep and see what you come up with.

Now, I’d love to hear from you.

What is your compelling reason for wanting to lose weight?
