If you are a vegetarian, you will love this burger. If you are not a vegetarian, you will love this burger.

I admit I was skeptical at first since I’ve tried so many different veggie burger recipes over the years, and didn’t like any of them very much. They were either too bland, too mushy, or a crumbly mess. This one is different. It’s a winner and a must try.

So, why choose a veggie burger over a beef burger? Great question!

First of all, do it for the deliciousness. Beyond that, choosing an eating plan that’s heavy on vegetables, fruits, nuts, seeds, beans, and whole grains may help ward off chronic diseases like diabetes, hypertension, and cancer. In addition, most plants are high in fiber, low in fat, and very filling which can help to curb your appetite, cut cravings, and support a healthy weight.

Eating a plant-based diet doesn’t mean you need to go full out vegetarian. Instead, you can opt for eating plants in lieu of animal products more regularly. At every meal and snack, think of ways to include plant sources of food. For example, whole grain toast topped with nut butter and fruit, three bean chili and a side of brown rice; whole wheat pasta tossed with fresh tomatoes, garlic, and basil.

Get started eating more plants with this yummy veggie burger. I enjoy it with big arugula salad.

My family likes to have their burgers on buns with lettuce, tomato, and red onion.

Either way, they are delicious. Click here for the recipe. You won’t be disappointed.

Once you try them, email back to let me know what you think. I’d love to hear from you.
